Eugenia Weston, Founder and Creative Director of SENNA Cosmetics, has been a pioneer in the beauty industry for over four decades. The rare combination of an exceptional eye, a listening ear, and a gift for training and mentoring professional artists makes Weston a makeup celebrity in her own right and a recognized industry leader.
Weston’s vision of the power of makeup to evoke harmony, emotion, and balance began at a very young age. Fascinated with faces, she saw the raw potential in each one. Ultimately, she began to design her own makeup products and colors for the natural transformation she envisioned.
llAn artist to hundreds of celebrities over the years, Weston remains the personal makeup artist of choice to the “Divine Miss M,” Bette Midler, Lesley Ann Warren, and Toni Basil. As a member of Local 706 Makeup Artists & Hair Stylists Guild, her artistry expertise spans film, tv, videography, and print. The SENNA Cosmetics pro artistry makeup line she developed in 1976, is used by many pro artists behind the scenes at film and TV productions internationally as well as editorial shoots. The elegant line is retailed globally and locally in six SENNA Makeup & Brow Studios in Southern California.
Weston’s passion and expertise in makeup has earned her several industry honors and awards. She received an Emmy nomination for outstanding makeup for Bette Midler in the TV movie, Gypsy. Other awards received include The Makeup Show’s prestigious “Legendary Makeup Artist, Leader, Educator, and Business Owner” Award. In 2017, Weston received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” in honor of extraordinary contributions to the beauty industry, from Erica Carr Global of Where the Masters Teach. Kevyn Aucoin acknowledged Weston in his famous book “Making Faces.”
